1st Day – Morning arrival before 10.00 am

Rising early invigorates the chakras and  gets the spirits blossoming with the flow of energy. As the sun’s rays permeate every pore of your body you can feel the energy buildup which helps in sustaining life and the practice of spirituality.

 

 

 

10.00 am to 11.00 am – Lunch

Food is a basic necessity to provide energy to charge the body which is a vessel for the pathways to subtle areas. We provide pure vegetarian food which is great for detoxifying the blood and energising the mind.

 

 

 

12.00 am to 01.00 pm – Introduction to basic yoga therapy + basic vedanta

There will be individually supervised yoga  exercises which provide limbering and flexibility thus loosening up the muscles and improves mind awareness.

 

 

 

 

1.00 pm to 2.00 pm – Introduction to vedanta

Getting to know the foundational theory of all proper ways and means of living life
which is extremely useful in progressing through life.

 

 

 

 

3.00 pm to 4.30 pm -Yoga Therapy

Yoga Therapy plays a major part in relaxing problem areas in your body by relaxing and eliminating stress in the  important joints of your system. This enables maximum optimisation and  the progressive  utilisation of yoga instructions and philosophies.

 

 

 

4.30 pm to 5.30 pm  – Nidra Yoga

Yoga nidra or yogic sleep is a state of consciousness between waking and sleeping, like the “going-to-sleep” stage. Yoga Nidra helps conserve and consolidate this energy and relax the entire system, preparing it for pranayama and meditation. It is, therefore, important to keep aside sufficient time for yoga nidra after yoga postures.

 

 

5.30 pm to 6.00 pm   – Walking meditation

Walking meditation is a form of meditation in action.In walking meditation we use the experience of walking as our focus. We become mindful of our experience while walking, and try to keep our awareness involved with the experience of walking.

 

 

 

6.15 pm to 7.30 pm    – Dinner

A nice and light vegetarian dinner helps to refresh the body and increase energy levels

 

 

 

 

7.30 pm to 8.00 pm  – Relaxation

A beautiful time to unwind, chat and reconnect with your teacher and fellow participants.

 

 

 

 

8.00 pm to 8.30 pm   – Chanting

Chanting provides a rhythmic beat to regulate the natural rhythm of the body. Words and phrases are repeated in a musical uplifting style which gives a peaceful easy feeling to the mental states of mind.

 

 

 

8.30 pm to 9.15 pm  – Meditation

Meditation improves focus and helps to concentrate one’s thoughts and emotions towards fulfilment of the primary goal which is to acquire peace of mind and stability of thought
